The
fluffy clouds in a crisp blue canvas
Looked
like cotton balls
Soft
to the touch
Yet
rip apart
If
you force them to
Looks
like you can sit on them
But
really you’ll fall through
It
was there I saw
A
snowflake
Ostracized
in the heaven of blue
But
wait
Look
at its brothers and sisters
Following
the little snowflake
Yelling
‘wait for us!’
The
white light began to shine from the sun
It
was there I see
A
layer of untouched snow
As
smooth as a fresh piece of paper
That
has not a scratch in sight
A
woman strands far away
Her
eyes not daring to blink
The
light in the seeker’s eyes
Show
no sorrow
No
joy
Simply
calm
While
I shiver in my torn boots
She’s
still
She’s
just
Simply
calm
